Students taking this course will be introduced to key global challenges and various commercial tools to analyse the business environment of a chosen company. Students, playing the role of consultants for the chosen company, will develop a proposal including key opportunities for the company studied based on detailed information research and analysis. The unit will be useful to any science undergraduate student particularly interested in industrial placements, internships, jobs in industry or potentially starting a business. However, it might be useful to any student regardless of the chosen career path since business and commercial awareness are now a days a must in industry and more academic jobs.
