What is your current job title?

Director, SmartWeave Technology and FreshMax.

 

Tell us about how you reached your current position.

Myself and a colleague started the company in 2002.

 

How has studying the MEnt helped you to reach this position?

Manchester Enterprise Centre gave an excellent platform to develop the business in terms of skills and resources.

 

What has been your biggest achievement since graduating?

We have developed a 100% cotton shirting fabric that when you sweat, you see no sweat marks. The shirts are sold across the world and can be purchased in Marks and Spencer in the UK under the Dri-Guard brand.

 

What are your lasting memories of Manchester Enterprise Centre?

Working late in an entrepreneurial environment with many other focused individuals.

 

What advice would you give to those considering studying at Manchester Enterprise Centre?

It provides excellent skills education for starting your own business.
