The Albert Gubay Enterprise Award 2017

The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation has generously offered three prize awards for students or graduates of the University to support the development of their start-up businesses. The three prize awards include a £5,000 cash award, plus free retail/office space at Walkden Town Centre.

Award details: 

- £5,000 cash award 

- Free business space for a period of 12 months (with the option to extend this at no charge for a further year) in Walkden Town Centre, a property owned by The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation. 

- Walkden Town Centre has undergone a major refurbishment and extension programme to create a superb shopping and leisure destination for Greater Manchester. There are up to 2,000 free car parking spaces and easy access by public transport, with over 140,000 people visiting each week to shop, meet friends and family, eat and drink, work and enjoy their leisure time. 


If you would like to be considered for this very generous offer, please complete the short application form (link below) outlining how your start-up business would benefit from both the cash prize and the retail/office space.

Applications must be submitted by email with the subject heading 'Albert Gubay Enterprise Award 2017' to elisa.Harrocks@manchester.ac.uk by Friday 30 June 2017. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to meet the Awards Panel during the week commencing 10 July.
