The Harari Graphene Award networking session, 15 May 2017

Monday 15 May at 4.30pm in Conference Room A, 2nd Floor, Schuster Building – refreshments will be provided.

This event is for graphene researchers and MBA students to bring together the technical expertise of our brilliant research students and the business expertise of our MBA students to identify commercial opportunities.

The Eli and Britt Harari Graphene Enterprise Award 2017, in association with Professor Sir Andre Geim, is now open for entries (closing date 16 June 2017). It’s a £50,000 annual award for the development of new graphene enterprises identified through the submission of a business plan by current students or recent graduates of the University.

The 2017 competition is open to both individuals and teams. Judges are not looking for a detailed business plan in the first instance. Instead they are looking for an outline of a real-world problem, explaining what form the solution would take and what specific capabilities of graphene or related materials would enable that solution.

Please e-mail elisa.harrocks@manchester.ac.uk to confirm your attendance.
