Naomi reaches European final of TiE competition

Manchester alumnus, Naomi Wilde, has reached the European final of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) international business plan competition. This follows her success in winning first prize in the Business category of Venture Further 2013.

The European final takes place in Brussels on 14 February where they will pitch to a panel of judges and compete with other finalists from around the world.

She said: “I am very excited and will be presenting with Connagh Wellington, the Sales Director. There’s something called a shark tank round which sounds intimidating!”

To progress from the regional final of the competition, Naomi successfully submitted an executive summary and a business plan for Fair-T.

She added: “I can’t believe how far I’ve come at the age of 21! Entering Venture Further and TiE Global Business plan competition has been the best thing I’ve ever done as I now have confidence in Fair-T and I’m so determined to make it work."
