StartUp Spotlight: Alex Epstein, Founder, Inventor & Creative Strategist of ‎Concoction

Tuesday 25th October, 6pm–7 pm, 2.3 Roscoe Building, Brunswick Street

After starting his career at one of the UK’s fastest growing tech businesses, Alex found himself competing in the world’s toughest job interview as a candidate on Series 6 of The Apprentice with Lord Sugar. In 2013, Alex launched Concoction, a disruptive beauty startup that pioneered the world’s first customised haircare system. Concoction’s products are now available all over the USA, in 48 different states.

We are delighted that Alex will be joining us to share his story and provide further insight on his approach to business, and his take on what it means to be an entrepreneur. The event is free and open to anyone who is interested in Alex’s story, has dreams of creating their own business or wants to take their enterprise to the next level. Alex’s presentation will be followed by a chance to ask questions to him, and prior to the event there will be refreshments and an opportunity to network.

They involve a short presentation and Q&A; followed by an opportunity to find out more about the ecosystem of support that is available at the University. The format is: turn up, get involved and enjoy – light refreshments are provided!
