Think you've got a great business idea? Enter Venture Out for a chance to win cash prizes and to make it happen...

The Venture Out 2014 ideas competition, supported by PZ Cussons, is for all current undergraduate, postgraduate and research students across The University of Manchester.

We’re looking for your brilliant ideas – it could be something that solves a problem that you have identified, a modification to an existing product or service or something that’s completely new.

Join us at the launch

Join us at the launch event as Competition Director Dr Martin Henery and Gharry Eccles, Personal Care and Home Care Director at PZ Cussons International give full competition details, and hear advice from a past finalist who has gone on to set up a successful new venture. They will explain how to get the best out of the competition and share advice on how to go from the initial idea to setting up a business.

** This event is now fully booked. Please also note the change of location for this event - it will now be held in the Alumni Club Room, which is on the ground floor of MBS West, Booth Street West **

Need even more inspiration?

Keen to speak to more people who've already set up their own successful ventures? Then why not come along to our Ideas Factory guest entrepreneur lunchtime events?

These informal sessions are a great way to meet successful entrepreneurs, share the ups and downs of their entrepreneurial journey and ask them questions over lunch (which is provided). They are open to students from all subject areas across the University - formal study of enterprise or business is not required.
