CMS Payments Intelligence proud to support Venture Further for 2nd year

Manchester Enterprise Centre and CMS Payments Intelligence (CMSpi) are proud to announce the ongoing partnership for CMSpi to support the Venture Further programme for another year.

Venture Further is Manchester Enterprise Centre’s annual business start-up competition, which encourages entries from students who currently attend the University of Manchester and have an interest in enterprise.

CMSpi is a payments consultancy, based in the centre of Manchester and recruits graduates from surrounding universities and colleges to work in all areas of the business, from analysis and project delivery to marketing and HR.

Last year CEO of CMSpi, Brendan Doyle, was on the judging panel for Venture Further where he presented the award for the Digital Category to Tony Xu, for Perfocal – a marketing platform for photographers.

Mr Doyle said: “We are a growing company and our growth has only been possible because we can attract strong, commercially entrepreneurial graduates.”

Last year, eight businesses were awarded with cash prizes for spotting genuine business opportunities and creating a clear plan of action to take their ideas to the next level. Winners of Venture Further in the past have gone on to launch many successful ventures.

Mr Doyle added: “We believe that encouraging as many people as possible into enterprise at a young age. This is the best way the UK can remain competitive in the future global economy.”
